What holds a Mini, Gold, Custom or Carbon pad in place?
Your sock. Most players wear Pro Grip Socks with cut-foot Sock Sleeves over the top, which keeps the pad flush against the shin. For a total lock, the Pocket Sleeve is a thin compression sleeve with a pouch the pad slides into. The Built-In is the only pad that solves this on its own — the pad is stitched into the sleeve.
Are the small pads referee-legal?
Yes. Every pad here is match-approved at every level, from Sunday league to the Eredivisie. Coverage is a choice, not a compliance question.
Which size do I take?
Bigger pad, more coverage, slightly more presence under the sock. Defenders and anyone who lives in duels should go up. Wingers and midfielders who want touch and speed go small. On the Built-In, sleeve size is separate: Kids 6–10, Youth 11–15, Adult 16+.
Can I wash them?
Loose pads: wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Built-In sleeves: cold hand wash, air dry. No tumble drying, ever — heat kills the stretch.
How long do Custom pads take?
Made and shipped within 7 days of your order. Because they're made for you, they can only be returned if there's a fault.
What if I choose the wrong one?
Thirty days to play in them. Swap or refund, no argument. The only exception is Custom.
